Rebecca specializes in auditing and accounting services for governmental entities, non-profit organizations, non-public companies and employee benefit plans. In addition, she provides tax services for individuals, partnerships and corporations.
Rebecca is a graduate of Briar Cliff University with a degree in accounting. She interned with KRP and joined the firm as a Staff Accountant in 2004. She received her CPA certification in 2006 and was promoted to Senior Accountant in 2007. Rebecca spent the following years as a Supervisor and later as a Manager for the firm, supervising client engagements and firm services. She became a partner in 2017.
I’ve loved working with numbers since I was a child and I sat with my mom as she performed accounting work for a local church. So, it was a natural progression for me to focus on accounting in my education and my career. I really enjoy working with so many different industries. I especially enjoy the challenge of solving financial puzzles.
Through my career, I’m proud of having passed the CPA exam which started my journey to becoming a partner in the firm. That’s particularly satisfying since I have joined a team of very knowledgeable and experienced professionals who care very much about the work they perform.
KRP has been a rewarding experience for me. The quality of our work and our excellent hard-working staff have really set the firm apart. As a mother of three young children, I am particularly thankful that KRP is family oriented and provides an environment that allows for a balance between my work and personal life.
