King, Reinsch, Prosser & Co., L.L.P. (KRP) was established in Sioux City, Iowa in 1915 by Mr. William Guthrie to provide professional accounting and financial services. A chartered accountant from England, Mr. Guthrie founded our firm to help Siouxland businesses navigate the newly enacted Federal Income Tax Laws.

Over the last 100+ years, KRP has grown and changed significantly. We’ve grown our diverse client base and service area. We’ve grown our expertise to meet the continually changing tax laws and global service needs of our clients. We’ve added hundreds of talented partners and team members who have contributed to our success. And of course, we have undergone name changes over the years.

What hasn’t changed is our professionalism, steadfast dedication to personalized service and commitment to assisting the ongoing success of our clients. In fact, many of our relationships with our clients have developed over decades of service and sometimes generations, all with the goal of ensuring their success. We value our client relationships, both old and new. Our Mission was developed as a guide to serve each and every client to the best of our ability.
